Brown Rice Spaghetti with Grass-Fed Beef and Rao's Marinara
Ingredients:
2 lbs jovial brown rice spaghetti
1 to 2 lbs grass-fed beef
1 tsp garlic powder (1 tsp per lb meat)
1 tsp onion powder (1 tsp per lb of meat)
Salt and pepper to taste
1 jar Rao's Marinara sauce (1 jar per lb of meat and pasta)
1 cup freshly grated Parmesan Reggiano cheese (needs to be from cold section of grocery store so it’s fresh)
Instructions:
Cook the pasta: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the brown rice spaghetti and cook according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Brown the beef: In a large skillet over medium-high heat, brown the grass-fed beef. Season with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
Add the marinara: Pour the Rao's Marinara sauce into the skillet with the browned beef. Stir to combine and let simmer for a few minutes.
Add Parmesan: Stir in the freshly grated Parmesan Reggiano cheese to sauce so it’s well blended with the juices of the meat. This is the secret to my spaghetti being so delicious!
Combine with pasta: Add the cooked brown rice spaghetti to the skillet with the beef and marinara sauce. Toss to coat.
Serve: Serve immediately and store for leftovers.
